Thanks for reminding me of this track... A real highlight of the Skeletons album I think it was.

Sorry, the album was Characters...one of the tracks was Skeletons. A long time since I've listened to that tape!

I'd say Lately, If It's Magic, You've Got It Bad Girl and Love's In Need Of Love Today are some of his more underrated ballads. They are all fabulous IMO.

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Make Sure You're Sure from Jungle Fever soundtrack is pretty solid.

If Ever is a song written by Stevie and first performed by John Denver. Stevie later recorded (or released) his version for the Down In The Delta soundtrack. So many artists recorded songs by Stevie. I believe his first song for a non-Motown artist was a song by a band called Rotary Connection. His version is only released live, but it's a great recording.

Very underrated ballads he got:

Visions is a beautiful song, just beautiful and is not one of his most recognizable songs

Blame it on the Sun is another great song about the fading of love

So Long, wonderful song

You and I wonderful song about love and conquer

Does he have a bad ballad? Nobody like Stevie!
