90's Flashback; pop-rock females While I've noticed a lot of people remembering the music of the 1970's and 1980's fondly as eitrher groundbreaking or even just fun, I don't sense as much love for the 1990's. Granted, for most of the decade it was either dominated by grunge groups like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, etc., or by gangsta rap (Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Wu-Tang Clan, etc.). But not all of the music was downbeat grunge, angry hip-hop, or overemoting divas like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Celine Dion; there were some other acts making waves during that decade.
