I love this one! It's the whole reason I bought the "Jackie Brown" soundtrack (which was a great buy, all excellent tracks). Shockingly, I don't have any Womack CDs. Can anyone made a good recomendation? I'd love to have a CD with "110th St" but haven't seen one. I don't think it was a hit. Were did it originally come from.

it was on a Soundtrack of the same Name.i Have Some tight Bobby Womack Greatest Hits Compilations&I'd say they are the Best place to start. His "Communications" Albums is tight as is "The Poet" from 1981 check that out.but I say start with his Full Best Of Sets&then if you want more check those Other Albums Out.Very Gifted&Soulful Brother. The Cat is a True BADDASS!!

i've got "the Soul of Bobby Womack: Stop on By" which is a greatest hits collect of his 1970s recordings and it includes both the regular version of "across 100th street" as well as the acoustic demo version (which kicks some major ass)... there ain't a bad cut on this one... y'all should pick it up...
