The new classic Iron Maiden album, Book Of Souls. This came out of left field. Iron Maiden may have one of the albums of the year. Certainly enjoy it more than D'Angelo. Yea, I said that.
Two disks, a large amount of music. They have a certain sound but are much more musical this time out. Even Rolling Stone gave them a decent review:

Meh, another veteran metal band releasing self-congratulatory albums I miss their old albums, 8-9 songs, no filler, 4-5 min songs (with killer choruses) + 2 epics now it's just 11-12 8 min songs, or even longer, melodies not catchy, random choruses, too much fat, not enough focus, progressive metal gets zzzzzzz easily the latest Judas Priest album was a lot better than this
