Because I hate them?!?

They started out to me as one of the worst boy bands ever with no hopes of ever being anything approaching good. I mean this hurts my ears:

But later on something strange happened. They released a song that turned the tide into actually being halfway decent:

I mean I still couldn't listen to the song because it was One Direction and only happened upon it while they were performing it on SNL. But obviously they got some new managers or producers or songwriters or something. I can't be bothered to google this stuff on One Direction even if I am writing a hell of a lot at this moment.

Then something even stranger happened. I absolutely fell head over heals for this one:

Ok somethings wrong. How could these guys actually release a beautiful song? It can't be possible!

Then they released what is inargueably one of THE best releases of last year. Hell even my mom loved it. It has to be their "I Want It That Way" moment:

Now I know they're under a new creative team. They just have to be.

Now they release a new release that is actually spirited and has some life in it. A little funky in a boy band N'synce type of way. I like it and I hate myself for liking it. I don't think I'll ever LOVE this band and I have little idea as to why. maybe they're guilty by association:

I just listened to it--doesn't do a thing for me. But, if I were a teen again (male or female) I'd think they were really cute and might go for the music at the time I had a teen crush. Maybe you're just crushin' on 'em for a moment. I think you missed the boat though--I read that they're breaking up.

My biggest problem with One Direction is that they don't know how to put on a damn show!!!!!!!!!! They don't know how to get on that stage, pound that pavement and fuckin' dance!!!!!!!

UK X- factor trash, GBH to anyones ears with good taste, simon cowell has a lot to answer for.

Good God ... that NASA video. NASA clearly needs the work, and funding.

Seriously tho - When I get bored, I like to go to the mall and invite a bunch of "1D" fans over for a listening party, and when things get going put on Antony and The Jonsons
