Gospel Music is my favorite form of music...I was rasied on all kinds of Music but Gospel was played the most...No other Music fills my Soul and makes it wanna jump out of my body like gospel music....If I gotta choose a song, I think my favorite Gospel song is Tramaine Hawkins "Goin' up yonder".....Goin'up yonder sums it all up...I LOVE hundreds of artists but here are some of my favs...
Shirley Caesar - The First Lady of Gospel and my favorite Tradiotional Artist of all time..
Deitrick Haddon - Powerful Tenor, he needs some R&B/Gospel cross-over material
Daryl Coley - There will NEVER be another Tenor Badder than that Kool-Kat...he SANGS....
Beverly Crawford - The Gospel Showstopper..She shows up to show out....
Karen Clark Sheard - The Greatest Female Gospel vocalist EVER...I'll leave it at that... | |

I grew up on Gospel music also. I still listen to a lot of the songs and artists that were played in my household. Tramaine Hawkins is my favorite female singer and Walter Hawkins my favorite male singer. I can't get with this contemporary Mary Mary and Kirk Franklin stuff though. It's all very confusing to me. I don't know whether I should clap my hands or shake my behind. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley
