The most interesting thing VH could do right now is release an album with a different lead singer per song, like The Heads did a few years back when David Byrne nixed a Talking Heads reunion album. I bet more "name" performers would be up for recording one or two songs with 'em than signing up to be the new full-time lead singer...then they could do one or two shows w/ the featured guests, it's not too hard on poor Edward's constitution, and everyone makes a buck or two for their collect call home to Mom.

This wont even happen anyways because its rumor...Michael Anthony has been ostracized or at least hasn't spoken to Van Halens since he toured with Hagar over the summer (and before). I remenber back in the day though that Patty Smyth of Scandal was up for the spot.
