YouTube As You Know. It... Changes Maybe Coming
The Verge by MicahSingleton, August 28, 2015
The way you experience YouTube may be dramatically different before the end of the year. According to multiple sources, the world’s largest video-sharing site is preparing to launch its two separate subscription services before the end of 2015 — Music Key, which has been in beta since last November, and another unnamed service targeting YouTube’s premium content creators, which will come with a paywall. If there's any truth to this... here we go with this bullshit, again. This is going to sink like Google Play Music and Goggle +. The former (GPM) was suppose to dethrone Apple iTunes, the latter (Google +) was shoved down the throats of YouTub channel creators and subs. As the article states, 'It is too little to late." The culture of YouTube, a community of people sharing (most cnannel creators aren't Google partners) is very much engrained. Music Industry is so stuck on stupid; steaming of any kind will never be a cash cow for them. NEVER.
As fpr Apple, I haven't signed up for the 3 month trial, if there's any truth to the link in this article.. the hell with them too.
