Keith Sweat's career has more longevity than Al B. He was also considered a sex symbol. I was right there back in the day @ his concerts also...He is NOT an Unsung artist. He has his own sound. Al b was NOT an original artist. Even though I did like that Kyle West sound that they gave to my favorite male singer Tevin Campbell! Who sung rings around both.

What I do remember when I saw Al b live was that he sounded HORRIBLE! But he was a good performer. Even though you couldn't really hear him that well, with all the women screaming..

He was flirting with everyone in the front row.I do mean "EVERYONE"..

Keith Sweat first 2 albums were good. After that the music became derivative and his neo nasal voice just became annoying after awhile. I hate 2 of his more popular songs Twisted and Nobody. If I happen to be listening to the radio I
don't give those songs 3 seconds before I turn it off. lol

"Nobody" is excellent music probably his last great slow jam

"Twisted" is really annoying. His nasal vocals are intolerable on that song biggrin

The last good slow jam I thought was Get Up On It. The album didn't do nothing for me but that

song was okay.

I just liked There You Go Telling Me No Again which I believe was on the New Jack City

soundtrack.

Sweats first three were good. With Keep It Coming below his first two. Can't remember much from Get Up On It LP besides title track. I stopped kepping up with him after the album he put out after the success on Twisted album and LSG.

Al b & Keith are both on similar paths now. Both have their own radio shows.

My all time favorite Al B song is "I Want To Know" from his album "Private Times"
