I can't believe a drummer this lame was in a such a big band. I know Kiss aren't exactly Dream Theater or prince for that matter. But so many people were inspired by their playing and that's a question mark to me. Peter Criss has to be one of the laziest drummers in a major rock band ever. This solo here is laughably pathetic

During their supposed 'last tour' at a performance I attended, I was thrilled to see him sing 'Beth'.

His playing on the albums is fine. They're not a fancy band, they could have had the drummer from Bay City Rollers and it would have been fine. And hey, then they would have a tartan catsuit. The road not taken...

Lousy soloist but let's admit - those solos were nothing but an excuse to blow off fireworks.

Yess!!! He is. I always wonder why Gene & Paul s Pick such a medicore drummer, I mean they are based out N.Y. surely there had to better drummer's around.

Peter Criss' influences did not come from rock&roll or metal. It came from r&b/soul (especially Motown) & jazz.

Paul Stanley was like a year ago

Because Kiss are one of the most overrated bands ever. Average musicians with 5th grade songwriting skills. I have a soft spot for 80's Kiss (lyrically HORRIBLE) because Eric Carr, Vinnie Vincent, Mark St. John, and Bruce Kulick. Were top notch musicians! and were way too good for a band like Kiss. Peter may have been influenced by jazz artists. But his playing is as white bread and shit as an elementry school warm up band

Gene Simmons even told Bruce & Mark to ''dumb it down'' and make the music more simple. Pathetic

All this Kiss bashing I understand I really do, but they also made so pretty good songs "Deuce" is a ass kicker of a song and a really good opener. "Lovegun" again good song. "Detroit Rock City" one of their best....Those of you who say that they don"t belong in the Rock & roll Hall of fame don't understand influence are they great musician?? No, great songwriters?? No, but they put on a helluva show and has greatly influence lots of bands, plus, you don't survive 35-40 yrs in the business whithout doing something right.

The 74-77 albums for me will always have a place in my heart, I love them dearly, I still have all of them on vinyl. Dressed to Kill, Kiss 74 oh god my favorite, Alive, RRO,Alive2,Double Platinum,Love Gun,Destroyer which I swear im gonna get tattooed someday. He was there therefore hes the man. The Kiss Unplugged is cool I love that too. Kissology bitchin.

Why do bands allow drama,badmouthing etc to be put out for the masses to read about n youtubed etc its a shame. Cant anything be sacred. I dont care how fn bad anything was when I put on those records I get what I need. The hottest band in the world. rip ec .... n BCR were cool back then.
