Well, Jermaine's name change hasn't gone as far to Twitter...

The Jacksons will be performing at Hyde Park in September for the London Proms!

this music will never see the light of day. and why was jermaine missing from a mojor performance like the american idol final? they sounded terrible without a lead singer.these guys need to get it together if they are serious about making music and performing, the 5 of them..marlon and randy included,should do this together or leave it alone.

Marlon stays away from his family as much as possible. He is usually never at family gatherings. He has done this for YEARS. Usually, you will only see Marlon when they are performing or doing an interview about an upcoming concert. Marlon distanced himself from his family years ago. Many members of that clan are not close but for some reason people want to pretend they are a "tight knit" family.Its been that way for years. It be nice if all the brothers were on board though.

Maybe you're thinking of Randy, who wasn't on the reality or on tour with the other four brothers.

also marlon moved to atlanta years ago, the rest live on the west coast, im sure he's not gonna make it to every family function.i dont think nobody believes this family spends all their free time together but that dont mean they hate each other. their children are way too close with each other for me to believe the siblings had nothing to do with each other.im pretty sure they dont make each other schedule appointments to visit.

back in the studio for what?..to sweep and wax the floors?

I think the point Free2 is trying to make is that there not a close family despite the image some family members like to perpetuate. To be fair, multiple family members likehave all said this over the years publicly so I am not sure why people get offended by this. Certain family members wouldn't have to schedule appointments for their own family to visit if they did not feel like they were constantly the plot for a money gain from their own family but I notice logic and rationale is lost when it comes to certain Jackson family members.

I kind of agree, these guys are getting pretty old. Jermaine is 60, Tito is 61 and Jackie a bone creaking 64, far too old to be making new hit music.

Not sure about Marlon, but he is probably still upset about Michael's death, he was the one closest to Michael (If you look at a lot of Jackson promotional shots, Michael is usually standing next to Marlon or has his arm around him. Plus the others used to pick on Marlon, because he was the least talented sibling and had the thickest lips in the early days.

Michael was called big nose and Marlon, liver lips. But Marlon was usually in the shadow of Michael as he was short until he was 16 and many times was confused for Michael.

I would be interested in a Jacksons album of new material. It would be interesting to see what they come up with. They could do something with 3T who seem to want to get back into music... why not? Not everything has to be major, they could just do a 3T/Jacksons get together. I think people would be interested in a cd or tour. A 3T Jacksons tour would do well, especially in the UK and Europe.

When was the last time they recorded something? I think they recorded vocals for the release of 'This Is It' the single... you can hear them at the end and I think that was a fitting tribute.

I don't see why they didn't just record something in the mid or late 90s and just get on with stuff. Rebbie had an album out for crying out loud. And don't blame Michael, Michael always told them to go on with it, even in 2008 he said he wishes his brothers well for their tour but won't be joining.

Jackie looks pretty greased up too, at least Tito looks natural. He was always picked on for his size, but Tito is having the last laugh along with Marlon, both have aged well. Jermaine looks fake and Jackie looks quite old. Tito looks in great shape for a man who is nearly 62.

Just think Michael could have looked like Marlon now too with thinner lips, if so he would have looked phine!

They tried to give the Jacksons a four-bar Isaac Hayes loop to sing over, then they complain about the track not having Jackson 5 magic.

jackie is delusional looking for that 'jackson magic', they will never get that back because mike is not here. they should try to get their nephew brandon howard to do lead vocals and get randy on board. the 4 of them cant work together in the studio without the fighting, maybe randy can get them more focused, and brandon being a producer can maybe find the right sound for them. i kinda knew we would be hearing about a new jacksons album because everytime mike or janet had something new coming out in the past jermaine would pop up talking about new jacksons music, it never fails.

Whose kid is that? I am a little concerned about producers that can't play a note producing a BAND like The Jacksons. IMO, that was what was another thing wrong with their (sample-based) track they were given on their 2009 show.

Sabotaged? I thought they had a very good run, especially from a "boy band" angle, but you can't blame Michael for going solo.
