She was his ticket to $$$ - without her, he's back with his negligent mother but now that Whitney is gone, and now Krissy, from what I understand, the $$ goes to Whitney's brothers- and one is married to Pat, so now she does end up with a big chunk of money. I don't know, maybe I've read too many conspiracy theories but this does seem like something could be up.

Even though I don't care much for Pat either. Tyler Perry is the one that was funding Krissy's care. He also funded the funeral & burial expenses, lended them his private Jet to tranport her body back to New Jersey. He also funded for her to be "secretly" flown to see a specialist on his jet. So with that said I believe it was his idea not Pat's,or a family meeting decision.

Tyler has been a life safer for that family.

Btw:Whitney's fortune that she left her beautiful daughter is now going to her Mother Cissy.Then her siblings.

You should check out the reality show they did after Whitney's passing: a teen having no clue how to deal with her grief, latching onto an obvious grifter with maturity and control issues, and an assortment of old, countrified family members with either no clue how to guide her, or a reluctance to do so out of fear of driving her away into said grifter's arms or even worse, public persecution. Inept would be an understatement to describe how the elders handled the young lovers. The only really healthy one appeared to be Pat, the other family members appeared to be on the older, slightly infirmed side (Gary has live disease/r transplant issues) Everyone was walking on tip toes as to not upset Krissy. That was the kind of code phrasing that was going on. It's as if they were traing to protect her feelings because her mother passed, but in the process, that was the only thing the ended up protecting. It's sad. There were obvious moments where you could see the child loved and respected her auntie, had good manners, and it was actually endearing. Then, at some point the show went dark. Everything became about her latching onto the young man, because he lived with her and her mom in the last years and understood what they were going through...then suddenly they're running around drunk and she's under the influence of things, slobbering all over the place, falling over, incoherent, missing appointments, blowing off opportunities...all to be latched at the hip with the boy.
