Kiss it or diss it - Summertime Feeling Jermaine Jackson - http://theurbanbuzz.com/?p=12077
Jermaine is a funny guy....he doesn't release anything serious for years, (a jazz cover song cd, blame it on the boogie remake, and other non relevant tracks, blah) but once his sister Janet drops a nice tune, he decides to release something decent (decent for Jermiane) and it's better than I expected. This is more of the Motown era Jermaine...reminiscence of songs like, You Like Me Don't you, and Castles of Sand.
It wont get the buzz that Janet's single is getting but i can see it getting airplay on Adult contemorary stations.
Your thoughts?

Kiss it or diss it? I haven't heard anything like that since the 1980s, but the R&B radio station where I lived called it "rush it or flush it". I remember with Partyman by Prince the majority of callers voted "flush it" and the station never played it again. I don't remember any of the local stations playing Partyman much. . I heard the Jermaine song last week, and I like it. The Jacksons have announced about a month ago that they are releasing an album later in the year and Tito is supposed to be releasing his 1st solo album. I guess his is gonna be a blues record. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Yeah, Kiss it or diss it is an 80's thing with r&b radio. I was raised in NY so that's where I remember the phrase. lol @ "rush it or flush it. " Now stations say, "pump it or dump it" lol.
Man, how long have we heard about the Jacksons releasing an album? I'll believe it when I see it.

A few months ago, Jermaine was on a AC radio station being interviewed about a few of his old songs. But he didn't mention any new music.
