appreciation steve winwood-back in the high life eric clapton-august

goin back thru my elcectic collection recently i ran across steve winwood's album back in the high life and eric clapton's august... now many called it synth-pop and ragged and ragged on it, but so what... i liked and still like the music i heard on these albums lol... my fav tracks are;
higher love(featurin the beautiful chaka khan)
freedom overspill(liked the keys and horns on it)
the finer things(featurn the soulful wail of james ingram)
back in the high life again(made many a dark day brighter)
and 4 eric clapton's agust i liked:
its in the way that u use it(liked the drums and keys)
tearin us apart(featurin the church bred growl of tina turner)
hung up on ur love(again the drums of phil collins got me)
