B-Rock & The Bizz ~ My Baby Daddy

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I think this tune popularized the slang "baby daddy" or at least I had never heard of it. lol

Not the first time words got into the mainstream from rap songs like "fly girl", "fresh", "illin", & "def" in the 1980s.

Mid-90s ratchet Hip-Hop was so much better than this current era of ratchet rap.

The difference, back in the day they knew their role and played it well. Now, the same guys making ratchet rap think they're the best lyricist in the game.
