I already loved Taylor. Now I love her more.

Pop star writes equivalent of children's argument for soda machines in the cafeteria, major software/engineering/science-based organization quivers at potential sales loss. She's like Pippi Longstocking, she better love that house while she still has it.

She is flat-out awesome. Every independant artist in the world owes her a debt of gratitude.

Her music does nothing for me and there's an article published by a photographer today that reveals her hypocrisy in her letter to Apple.

That photographer is talking shit.

A UK representative for Taylor Swift, however, told Business Insider via email that the standard photography agreement to which Sheldon referred was "misrepresented."

The contract "clearly states that any photographer shooting The 1989 World Tour has the opportunity for further use of said photographs with management's approval," the representative said.

The person added: "Another distinct misrepresentation is the claim that the copyright of the photographs will be with anyone other than the photographer — this agreement does not transfer copyright away from the photographer. Every artist has the right to and should protect the use of their name and likeness."

Does anyone think that all the stuff she does for fans and this letter is all quite contrived? I mean can't you imagine a board of people in charge of how the world perceives her just saying "okay lets get her to write this open letter and upload it to social media so she can garner the attention of millions" or having videotaped 'intimate' houseparties uploaded to youtube where fans can hear an album exclusively before its release! when you just compare it to unknown huge amounts of kids who visited neverland then mj never publicized it just all feels sort of fake and you get an idea in your head of how all these events ploy out in the boardroom

No, I don't that all the stuff she does for fans and this letter is any more contrived than
Apple releasing new iPhones but not manufacturing enough to meet demand. When you
are involved in a business, you SHOULD be contrived and calculating and savvy and smart.

Taylor Swift, no matter what you think of her music, is fucking smart and fucking powerful.
I tip my hat to her; she's a bad bitch whoever can make Apple re-think its business strategy.
