Due to wave of activity in the Janet-sphere right now, we've decided it's best to create a catch-all thread for all Janet news to do with the new album, new tour, etc.

Finally!!!!!

I bought my tickets for the Minnepolis show yesterday. Tickets are on sale already through janetjackson.com, if you preorder the CD. A little annoying that there was no advance notice, but it worked out.

Oh yeah! I wanted to ask everyone what bundle they chose! I just copped the vinyl LP. I was not sure about the shape of the t-shirt and I have bought some shirts online before and it just wasn't flattering even though the "size" was right.

Are both these dates confirmed? We just heard of the Thursday date on the news, none was announced for Friday.

Don't know if I'm going or not. I'm not much of a fan (she's okay though) but we don't get many concerts around here.

is it considered a bundle though? when you pre-order the cd you get a code for prefered seats for the concert but i dont know if its a bundle because you are not buying them together. i got my cd but dates for my city hasnt even been announced yet, so lets say she dont come to a city near me, i would just get the cd and a tshirt unless i decide to travel to see her. I know she's coming to the tri-state, thats why i went ahead and did the pre-order. basically she's using the tour to push the album instead of vice versa, which was the traditional way.

why des tour always start in Cadana?

Since they usually book up the place to rehearse for a couple of weeks, I guess it's just cheaper to do it there.

It's not a bundle. Now when I bought a seat for Madonna and was given a digital copy of her album.. that's a bundle (and probably better value).

Well, they did for the VR tour. They booked up the Ahoy for about 2 weeks before the tour started to get the show ready. They did it for the AFY tour, they booked up the GM Place Arena for about 2 weeks before the tour started to get the show ready. I know, because I was there. I heard they booked up the arena prior to the start of the Rock witchu tour to get the show ready. And I'm pretty much sure they will do so for this tour.

This snippet is just her way to say thank you to the fans. She might use it as interlude on the album, though.

Just checked it out. Liked that note she hit when she said, "You made me feel wanted". I'm feeling just about every move she and team have made so far. She seem to have a better strategy this time around more than previous records. Glad she's using social media to build her buzz but she's not oversaturating the market (yet at least) with too much information at once.
