Youtube, soundcloud and mixes.

Couple of orgers here used to send me mixtapes of various artists, I've discovered a great deal of music from those, but those orgers vanished from the face of earth unfortunately sad

Would welcome any mixtapes from anybody here though and I'll try to repay the favor, I enjoy them smile

Sorry, I just realized my previous post wasn't an answer to the inital post.

Last song I heard was in a clothing store's speakers lol "Happiness" by Goldfrapp. Via shazam smile

I Listen to Steve Harvey Morning show at least 4 days a week and I never knew what a Sam Smith was until Steve played his music...I still didn't know Sam was White until I saw him on TV....So I rely on Local/National radio to keep me in the know on New Artists & Music...

Me'shell will likely be a b.b. king of sorts, I can't imagine her not making records. Her catalog is admirable and consistent, also experimental and unafraid.

I agree with Hamad that Shazam is becoming huge. Truth be told in terms of interest Shazam is probably more hip to what people like to hear than Billboard or any magazine as people volunteer to find music using the service. Out of sheer interest and their own volition. I think its a brilliant idea. I'd never use it though, I used to be the guy behind the counter that people would ask or hum or whistle or get angry about at the record store RIP

Its such a convenience. And thanks for it, I've been exposed to a plethora of music that I haven't been exposed to previously.

When I was living in London, I would explore the local moms & pops record stores there, and simply turn it on whenever a song gets my attention was less of a headache than asking the guy behind the counter, who potentially looked like he didn't wanna be bothered (or sometimes wasn't sure).

I highly recommend it nod
