There's a sax player I've watched here in LA his names Jim Wheeler, he fn rocks the sax n his other instruments in the same category so awesomely I never get enough of him playing.

Because pop music is focused on songs and it's pretty hard to sing and play saxophone at the same time.

I agree, yet I made a song where sax takes a big place.

Some funky notes just after my sentences and then small chorus (solo)

I also composed a song for a sax only

Smooth jazz has plenty of sax. Kenny G released an album a few months ago: prince.org/msg/8/414106
