Why do I sense his daughters are making this claim because they may not be part of his will. I hope Mr.King estate is in order or else it's gonna become a messy court battle.

...Does it matter that he was murdered?

No,that's not what I mean.I know my comments seem insensitive, but I think this is simply a case of angry family members fighting over a will.We will soon see, though.

yeah, that's what it seems like to me....another situation where family members are fighting with the managers (who are probably in B.B.'s will) confused Ugly accusations get thrown around.Such a shame.

Something similar happened when James Brown died. No murder accusations there, but there were disagreements over the inheritence that turned into a soap opera...

Doesn't this happen everytime a black influential artist dies? It's kinda like right out of the textbook.

If he was 89, the will should be crystal clear as to what he owned and who gets what.

Mr. King had been in failing health for years... I'd be kinda surprised if someone poisoned him. Some folks maybe throwing manure in the wind because they know they've been left out or they aren't getting a larg percentage of Mr. King's assets.

More often than not, fights over or legal battles over inherent wealth... the folks who walk away with a lot of cash are the attorneys. I hope Mr. King's Trust or Will is airtight and concise. I hope Mr. King Trust or Will was filed way before his passing. What a lot of children adult children don't seem to grasp, their parents money isn't their money. Anything your parents do for you after the age of 18 is a gift. Death, weddings, and funerals bring out the worst in people.

yep, I starting to believe it always happens and not just with influential but non influential as well. I've seen it in my own family. Not my siblings or parents but with cousins, aunts, uncles etc
