He had a long life and career and blessed us with great music. RIP, BB. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

This is a great loss of such a monumental musical figure as well as a first-class gentleman and long-time goodwill ambassador for the blues. I am grateful he was with us as long as he was, especially considering his battles with weight and diabetes. His love of bringing people joy and the blues keep him going. RIP, Mr. King. If you've got funk, you've got style.

My dad used to love this man. I remember how excited he used to get whenever he saw BB King on television. I used to get a kick out of him getting all excited, yelling "BB" when he saw him. Later on, I found myself doing the same thing whenever I saw my favorite entertainer "Prince" on television, or anywhere for that matter. ........I guess I got my love of entertainers that played guitar from him. I'd like to think that my dad has now met his favorite entertainer in heaven.
