It’s been a while since we heard from Leona Lewis, who became a global superstar back in 2007 thanks to her hit “Bleeding Love.” Now, the British singer and former X Factor winner is back with a new record deal and a new single.
She released the new track, “Fire Under My Feet,” and its music video today, after signing with Def Jam Recordings in the U.S. via Island Records in the U.K.
The song, with its pumping drumbeat and catchy hook, is the first release from her upcoming fifth album, I Am, due out this fall.
Leona’s last album release was a holiday album, Christmas, with Love, in 2013. She was previously signed with Syco Music and RCA Records.
