So... did anybody get something cool for Record Store Day? I got Sly and The Family Stone Live at Fillmore East 1968, a double LP on red and green vinyl. Great stuff! Anybody else got some goodies?

I didn't know that one was actually out yet and I thought it was a 4 disc set from 4 different shows (there was an early and late show on two consecutive days and the 4CD version was each show). [Edited 4/19/15 4:32am]

They did two shows per night on Oct 4 & 5 1968 with slightly different setlists. The 4 CD set will feature all shows. The LP came out for RSD and is a compilation. Info from slystonemusic.com [Edited 4/19/15 5:12am]

Deliberately went to my Wrecka Stow late. They didn't have any RSD things that I wanted (The Sly and Foo releases) but I got over it quickly. More than anything, I was heartened to see this store and others like it absolutely packed with people. Who says people don't shop for music anymore? It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

that's one thing I dislike about Record Store Day....each store only has a few copies of these exclusive releases A few years ago,I stood in a long line and when I finally got to the register, the record I wanted was already gone. That's why I decided to skip it altogether and just go straight to Ebay.

Of course there's only a few copies! That's why it's called exclusive!

^^^what's really cool about this release is....it was originally released in 1978 as a promo-only record, containing long versions that weren't available anywhere else.So this is a super-rare record that was finally released to the fans. Here's a pic of the 1978 promo.....
