Ian Gilan something from Deep Purple fantastic! Best line up was Ian Gilan (vocals), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar), John Lord (organ), Roger Glover (think that was his name) (bass) and Ian Paice (Drums)

Ian Gilan for those that don't know...

JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

That's Michael Hutchence. I agree with that, and I'd also include Chris Cornell (Soundgarden and now Audioslave),and Simon LeBon (Duran Duran).

Yes they did. They're sooo AWESOME!!! Man, I wish I could've seen them, but they broke up when I was an infant. Maybe they'll reunite and bring back the funk/punk. They played at magic mountain too. That would've been, like, the best day of my life right there.

Oh yeah, let me add one more frontman. Jay Kay from Jamiroquai. But I don't think they necessarily are rock. They're jazz/funk.

Are we using Rock as an umbrella category, or Rock as in strictly the genre? Anyhoo...
