Just because some snobbish critics looking for avant-garde pseudo deep/profound shit are not masturbating to nice mainstream pop songs, it doesnt mean they suck. Whether you like Mariah Carey or not (i'm not fan, not a hater either), but 'Fantasy' is very good POP (=as in 'popular'), well crafted, catchy, danceable ANDS sung by a GOOD singer. it's hard to deny that ... Now Nelly and the like, that's some utter shit! Everybody is somebody, but nobody wants to be themselves. | |
