A few from Ben Williams

I can't think of a bassist, Jazz musician, Jazz group, or album(s) that within the past 3 years or so, I've enjoyed more than Ben Williams.

For me, in quite a few instances, Contemporary Jazz albums(or musicians), either sound alike(a lot of Smooth Jazz), don't have enough(looking for the right word), excitement(?), or aren't expressive enough. So what i like about Ben Williams(group) is it all falls into place(imo). The bass, piano, keyboard, saxophone, guitar, the string instruments. It all sounds really good to my ears.

Anyway i apologize if his stuff has been posted lately. Honestly i didn't check the archives.

The last minute of Moontrain? Man, they should compose another piece from it. Really nice.
