Brant Bjork is the former drummer of the band kyuss, and was one of its original members. He's also been a member of the band Fu Manchu, and has been in at least three other noteworthy bands. Actually the guy is a pretty productive musician, producer, and record label owner.

This is one of those threads where it was hard to choose which songs to post. Brant Bjork is that good(IMO).

i've seen brant a couple of times (with about 25 other people in ohio who know who he is). he's always awesome and super gracious, walking the crowd and hanging out. a supremely nice guy.

That's my buddy Mike Peffer at the far right in the pic in the Blowin Up Shop video. He was in the touring lineup of the Bros for several years. I can dig it.

Nice. It seems like it would be pretty cool to be associated with Brant Bjork.

@peedub. Yeah, low desert punk is a cool song. That whole Jalamanta album is good. Its probably number 2 or 3 in my favorite brant bjork albums.

The cool thing about brant is that even though he's considered 'stoner rock', his albums have nice variations( from album to album).

He's also a bad ass guitar player. I really like his rhythm guitar playing. He has what i would call, soul.
