No one cared? Janet was the most searched person of the year in 2005, according to Google. The only reason was that video. She was also most searched in 2004 (SuperB), and still is, the most searched in history.

Janet is always fine to me. But, I don't think that's the best pix of her either. Around 20 Y.O. promotion she was getting half naked on a lot of mag covers. I think she was rebelling against how the media was treating her, so she just like "F' it! Y'all not gonna make me ashamed of my body."

I'm sure Jermaine was gassing her up to do it too, beacue she was also making questionable music collaboration choice. I can't believe she did a song on Chingy's album. And she played a naughty school girl in Jermaine's video for "Gotta Getcha."

I know he was trying to make her more down-to-earth and she was dickmotized, but she was getting a bit too common at this point, including those JD youtube home videos. I glad somebody stepped in got her image back on track. I still think the Number 1s tour was a great move for her and did well for her career. She got good press, the shows were stripped down and fun, and she rode off into the sunset with a billionaire.

I would love for her to come back (to me)- had to do it BUt if she wan't to chill now, I respect that.
