Doesn't matter to me. In the past, if he had a song that I liked, it just happened randomly so it wasn't like he was the type of artist that was known for frequently putting out the type of jams that I like. In other words, he wasn't a funk artist so he's not the type of artist that I have to depend on for my type of jams so even if he does sell out to shit hop, I feel no loss. Now, folks like Ronald Isley, Charlie Wilson, and now unfortunately, Prince....damn right it pisses me off when they sell out because shit hop's gain is funk's loss.

For me, hip hop was always a fusion and since sampling was basically outlawed, it took a turn for the worse, both percussively and melodically. If they have to bring in a Beatle to write and play, then that is okay. They probably won't be clearing any Beatles samples!

Maybe Sir Paul doesn't want to feel like he's simply standing on a pedestal in a museum. If he wants mix it up a bit, and try a few new things, or perhaps let people know he can be relevant to music in 2015, I'm cool with it, whether he hits or misses.

I love that young recording artists are wanting to work with a fucking Beatle! This lets you know
