I don't see how wack shows like this help music in any way, shape or form.

This sucks. It looks like something put together by Jimmy Fallon. It could only be worse if they lip-synced to auto-tuned versions of the songs...

Why is it supposed to help anything? It's fun entertainment like The Gong Show and karaoke. There's nothing wrong with that. I don't think Puttin' On The Hits was wack, it was a good show to me.

The Gong Show--best satire of all time... I still say Chuck (Em)Barris was on drugs back then...

I'd like a tribute act TV show with a different performer (eg The Musical Box, Beatallica, Joanne Joanne) each week. The Blues Brothers are probably the most well known tribute and still performs.

I co-signed for an apartment when my son was in college but he's gonna have to buy his own car.

Well if you haven't figured it out, I have a different taste than the music snobs here, who talk about "real music". I don't think there is anything wrong with this show. It's just a celebrity version of Puttin' On The Hits. If you've seen that show, some people wore costumes and others would dress like the performer.

I would be the opinion that this has more merit than another lip-sync show:
