According to a work tape, Bolton said when composing his song that it sounded like Marvin Gaye, according to one of the Isley's. That was fact, but the odds of Bolton hearing some obscure Isley song that no fucker had ever heard of smells bullshit to me.

Bolton got rushed and had to pay what was the biggest settlement (around 5 million), thanks to the song being part of a multi platinum album aswell as a top 10 single.

It probably made it fall out LOL. I know everyone loves to laugh at him, but his case was much worse then the Thicke one. It beggers belief that Ronald Isley seriously thought Bolton had heard his song and used it for his own. Bolton made some mistakes himself though no doubt (saying he never heard of them or some shit like that), but he didn't deserve to lose.

As for the appeal, Bolton lost that too. So judging on this case, Thicke and Pharrell have even less chance of overturning it then Mr Bolton did. Iam sure rnb fans loved the fact The Isley's won, but be open minded guys LOL, you know this case was bullshit.
