My fellow orgers were right, Boy George's vocals are currently horrible.

It's too bad it fell apart again. I thought the album was right around the corner! A tour is really such a big commitment.

Very good documentary and a shame they got so close to the reunion and new album...and doubt it will ever happen now
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

I was right about Boy George. His vocals are horrible and he's an awful person who has no respect for anyone around him.
People said I was hateful, but watch this documentary and you will see why I feel the way I do about him.

They announced a show in LA, so it is happening! But yes, Glinda the documentary didn't paint George in a very nice light. Personally I think he's still in love with Jon, and it frustrates him that he can't have him! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

He's definitely still bitter about Jon, but I get the feeling it's less about still being in love (it was 30 years ago) and more a combination of leftover possessiveness and an idea that Jon 'wronged' him (which to be fair he probably did, but people are rarely perfect when ending relationships), which he's still bitter about, in the same way that he's still bitter about every single other 'wrong' he's ever experienced, ever, from anyone.
Benjaminira, what show in LA? I saw they were on some festival lineup or something, is that it?

I had tickets for the NYC show in October 2014 that was cancelled... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

But he's really awful to Roy too! He won't let Roy write anything and accuses him of faking a knee injury. How do you explain that? And even Mikey who is the sweetest person in the world says "I've learned not to hate you!" If someone is sweet and calm as Mikey wants to hate you you have a serious problem. I feel people are always making excuses and trying to come up with some deep psychological explanation for him thereby letting him off the hook. And people always try to blame Jon somehow. Maybe it's a simple explanation. George just is not a good person. There are people in this world who are just bad nasty people. He's one of them
He's always bitter as you said about someone wronging him, but he expects people to forgive him if he wronged them and jumps all over them if they don't!
A date was announced, but that doesn't mean it will happen. It will probably be cancelled somehow.

He's awful to Roy because Roy has probably also wronged him in his eyes, as has probably just about every person he's ever met. Jon just gets a little extra because of the history (lucky old him).

Wronged him?? No one would know his name if he hadn't met Roy who wrote a lot of the actual music of the CC hits. Plus, Roy and his wife let him stay at their house to get off of heroin. I hate his hypocrisy. He's always preaching about spirituality and not holding grudges. Just like a typical priest, they preach one thing and do another!!

I don't know if you've noticed but I'm agreeing with you.

Great! Have you seen the yes people fans that follow him on twitter? They see nothing wrong with how he acts. I'm just a little surprised anyone agrees, that's all. Sorry if I come off rude because I'm used to thinking I'm the only one that feels this way about him. Great to see I'm not the only one.
There was also some article in the UK media saying there was nothing wrong with how he acted in the documentary and it was all Jon, roy and Mikey's fault for supposedly not taking the new album seriously. I just feel like I'm the only one that sees him this way. Glad I'm not and you agree!
He apparently is moving to LA, in the US to live. So the British people are rid of him now, Us Americans have to put up with him now!

The Arts Desk one? Yeah, that one was pretty ridiculous, but on the plus side if you now go back and read the comments, you'll see that most people agree.
Still hoping for that album though!

Guess George will remain a bitter bee til the end. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
