Clark Terry (December 14, 1920 – February 21, 2015) Clark Terry who played with Count Basie and Duke Ellington has died at the age of 94. Clark Terry also played for a decade with "The Tonight Show" band. Like most f the musicians of his period, his sound was unique and crystal clear. I think it can be said with the passing of Mr. Terry, he was the last link of musicians who can up in the time the "Jazz sound" was forming. RIP
