Nicki Minaj + K. Michelle’s Tour Manager Stabbed To Death In Philadelphia

Nicki Minaj‘s tour manager, De’Von Day Day Pickett, was stabbed to death early this morning in Philadelphia, according to TMZ. Eric Parker, another member of Nicki Minaj’s crew, was also stabbed, but he’s still living.

Nicki Minaj broke the news when she posted about Pickett’s passing on her Instagram account. Pickett was previously K. Michelle‘s tour manager. He managed her very first tour, the Rebellious Soul Tour. K. Michelle posted an Instagram of her with Pickett this afternoon.

The stabbing incident happened outside of CHE Bar & Grill in Philadelphia around 3 a.m. Parker was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. An argument broke out in the bar around 2:30 a.m., according to a local news report, and continued outside. Police found a cell phone, a hat, and blood outside of the bar. Details are still emerging.

so nicki was in Philly when this went down, i wonder does your current Meek Mills have something to do with this.

Last night, two men by the name of De’Von “Day Day” Pickett and Eric Parker were involved in a bar fight in Philadelphia, resulting in Day Day being stabbed to death, and Eric fighting for his life in the hospital. I’m truly sad to report this, as Day Day was a friend of mine and one of the sweetest people in the business.

The men had been in Philly for tour rehearsals, as reported by both Nicki Minaj and Fabolous. (I’m slightly confused on Nicki and Fab’s posts, as they both said “my” tour. I’m going to assume that they are going on tour together?) Day Day also worked as road manager for Pusha T, who posted a heartfelt tribute upon hearing the news.

My heart is heavy right now… God opened my eyes this morning at 9:49am. For some reason at that time I woke up thinking about both of these guys. They both work with me, but I couldn’t figure out why they were in my mind at 1st wake up. Wasn’t sure if I had a dream & they were in it or just some wake up & process things type shit.. But at 10:04 my brother hit me & told me that they both were fatally stabbed in Philly last night. My friend @daydaydoesdis (left) died & my friend Eric Parker is in critical condition in the hospital fighting for his life. I am still in shock & don’t want to believe this. And it hurts even more knowing how good these two dudes are. How hard these guys work. And how loyal they are to whoever they are down with & each other. Please send Eric Parker your blessings & a prayer for him to pull thru. And RIP to the fallen soldier Day Day. I can’t even believe I’m saying that with your name attached to it. & I HATE this being a post!! It’s killing me to talk abt you in the past tense. I don’t believe I’ve ever met someone as selfless as you. No one as humble and for the team as you. I hired you as my road manager simply because I knew you were more honest than me. There were stronger, more experienced, more polished candidates for the job but they weren’t better than you.
