I recall that just after Meshell's debut album, people would routinely ask her about Prince and whether she'd like to rub shoulders with him. In at least one interview, she said no and suggested that who he really is would almost certainly sully her impression of him. She should have trusted that assumption rather than have it confirmed.

On another note, Prince is perhaps the least interesting topic covered in that interview. It was pretty good. Thanks for sharing the link.

The different artist that clear , to do their muziq again likes it. So what's wrong with that? If doesn't want, other artist doing or ruining, his classic masterpieces. He has EVERY right not to clear it, for them to release it. It shows, that he is a REAL artist, not out to collect, every, $ from samples or remakes, made of his precious children.

Plus, now that he has his own, self made, MEGA, NpgMusicPublishing company.. He has approved very carefully, to have his songs placed on classic ,high rated shows.

I agree.I hate those comments he made about U2 ("I don't go to awards shows anymore...you'll be sitting there and someone like U2 will beat you").That's a very cocky,arrogant attitude.It implies that he only goes to these shows to win awards and that he truly believes that he is better than everyone else.It was disappointing to see him act this way.
