Singer/actress Janet Jackson was spotted shopping at Giuseppe Zanottii shoe boutique in Milan, Italy on Wednesday. Jackson, 48, is rarely seen in the U.S. after marrying Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012. The marriage is Janet’s 3rd.

I like it as well but it is also "bittersweet." I think part of her reclusiveness is because of the way the entertainment business, media and her industry peers have unfairly treated her. I know Janet is not perfect but the way she has been treated in the media and industry over these last 10 years has been a tragedy to witness. I think she got tired of it and chooses not to participate in it. Personally, I don't blame her. The industry is very fake and fickle.

that's a percentage of it.....the majority of it is how she was berated 3 plus years ago by just about every media source in sight along w/a fanbase accusing her of striking that young girl when they know she didn't touch her, accusing her of being a danger......that's when it was the final straw and she jettisoned the country.....

Janet still has been recording and doing it HER way. She will be back..The woman is happily married and needed this time to finally enjoy happiness, with a BILLIONAIRE!

Her destination? The Giuseppe Zanotti shop on Via Monte Napoleone.

Janet always looks fresh faced and fab these days. That married life in the middle east is doing her something right....

what i love to def about artist of the good ole days like janet and prince no matter how public of a large star they are they are still very private and u only know what they want u to know. shit janet was married over 7 years nobody knew until they divorced.artist now complain about no private life but they all over twitter and instagram posting their lives 4 all 2 know.

That's why whenever I hear these celebrities talking about the paparazzi and the media hounding them. I always think of how someone like Janet can just disappear for months on end and the media not have a clue of where she is. If she can do it trust and believe those other celebrities can too. They just don't want to. I have a love/hate relationship with private Janet. I love that she's not a media whore and knows how to disappear when she wants to. But as a huge fan I hate that we don't get to see much of her. She's beautiful! And Joey is looking mighty fine too!

This is true. Young artists, older artists, artists her age and artists from other genres have given Janet major props lately.

Yea but some of her peers have unfairly treated her. LA Reid, Justin etc. I am not talking about now. I am talking about before she became reclusive when she was actively involved in the industry.

i've been hearing janet covered by different artists lately. wale sampled 'go deep', some artist name childish gambino did a terrible rendition of 'when i think of you', layla hathaway and a male artist did an amazing jazz rendition of 'i get lonely', some japanese band sampled 'ttwlg', and raheem devaughn did a neo soul remake of 'anytime,anyplace'.
