R.I.P. Sam Andrew We are saddened to hear of the passing of Sam Andrew, Janis’ friend and bandmate in Big Brother & The Holding Company and the Kozmic Blues Band. Sam passed peacefully in the arms of his wife, Elise, after complications from a heart attack he suffered ten weeks ago. As his friend John Byrne Cooke said on the BBHC page: "He lived his life in music and art and a loving marriage. It doesn't get much better than that.” We love you, Sam.
