"Don't Let Go (Love" is a great song.It would have been cool to see them move in that direction, with more rock/pop tracks. It was a natural fit for them.

So they fronted 200,000 but are entitled to 300 million? It is too bad and so sad that the original members let their ego get in the way of being united against the vampires that ultimately destroyed their group. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

She was an easy scapegoat in the beginning but had the rest of the group listened to her, they could have stayed huge and released so much more music. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

$300 million dollars Lawsuits are so stupid sometimes. Even if they loose they'll have to pay back their advances and a tiny bit of damages. Nobody was EVER making no $300 million dollars off this venture.

I'm not so sure aboout that.Dawn didn't exactly become a solo superstar when she left the group. And there was some "drama" in the Lucy Pearl group,as well.I don't know if she was the 'smart' one at all.
I think EnVogue would have stayed huge if they had kept working with producers Foster and McElroy and released the follow-up to Funky Divas much sooner (1994 or so).Dawn abandoned the group and that was the beginning of the end,for all of them.I know she complained about the deal they had but I think the big money would have came eventually.
