Jesus fucking Christ.

I just watched the Kanye rant.

I can't believe what he actually stated. He needs to go see a psychiatrist.

Some of my MUTED list from this year's Grammy.

- Adam Levine & Gwen Stefani

- Beyonce (WHERE'S LEDISI???)

- Taylor Swift / Miley Cyrus / Nicky Minaj speaking & presenting

- Blake Shelton's Wife and some country bands

- Kanye

- Sia

I was about to mute Ed Sheeran just when I saw Herbie Hancock on piano so i grudgingly watched (didn't care about John Mayer and Questlove).

Prince saved the Grammy, as always.

Kanye needs to not be so selective in his antics. Someone should just give him a good beat down verbally and physically. Similarly to the beat down Halle Berry's ex got. I recall years ago with Kanye's Taylor Swift incident Pitbull and Pink spoke out pretty much saying they would have handled Kanye. That's pretty much how people like that need to be handled. Called out, publicly embarrassed, punked and humiliated. That would be his Kryptonite. He can dish it out but can't take it.

Kanye is a very talented idiot. Who is he to say that Beyonce is the only artist who deserves an award ? If he an't appreciate or understand Beck's music , then he shouldn't comment on its merits

lowkey

why is there always this outrage when beyonce loses an award? kanye is disgusting and he knows who to pull this with, i cant wait for an artist with some balls to handle his ass. beck was way too nice and politically correct in his response. i heard that annoying british dude sam smith said he would give beyonce the award if he won, wtf. where did this mentality come from, dont all the nominees work hard on their albums, why is she entitled to awards? i've never in my life seen artists act like this, they literally bow down to this chick, why i dont know.

Not to start controversy, but imagine if Beyonce (or Kanye) had won, and a White artist made a statement that they didn't deserve the award ....We'd never hear the end of it.

This went right over the viewers heads:

During the middle of his performance, Williams and his backup dancers on stage — many outfitted in black hoodies — paused. Instead of singing, they allowed their hands to speak for themselves in a tribute to the #BlackLivesMatter movement that emerged last year to protest the killings of unarmed black Americans.

Source: Mediaite via CBS

The significance of the black hoodies and the "hands up" motion cannot be understated. Both images have been unmistakably synonymous with the broader movement against the killings of unarmed black people at the hands of police officers and vigilantes. The hoodies originally emerged as a form of protest following the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012 and the eventual acquittal of his killer, George Zimmerman. The "hands up" came immediately following the death of Michael Brown in August 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri, by a police officer

.

I was thinking of how unncessary Ed Sheran was to his own performance. John slayed that guitar and the backing vocals (even Herbie looked over a few times like 'damn').

.

CBS wins for "Best Integration of Programming" by having 3 "The Voice" judges perform and the wife of the other judge perform while he looks on.

.

Annie Lennox stole the entire program. Mesmerizing, like a mythical banshee enchanting the kiddies (how can she do that without her Macbook filtering her voice?).

.

Madonna nailed her performance BUT I do wonder if the disco/dance spectacular bit is getting stale. Gawd would it have been incredible if she and Nas had slain "Vedi Vidi Vici".

I never want to hear that over-produced song again. But shouldn't Tom Petty have been up there with Smith? Smith gave him a co-writing credit.

Beyoncé fans are the fuckin worst. And Kanye is one of them lol! Usually it's her gay fans who go berserk in these situations. What artistry is he talking about? The facts she had a team of producers, writers, arrangers etc. While Beck is a multi instrumentalist. And he produced his entire album by himself. Or because bey bey was bigger? rolleyes fuck all that.

It is scary that the music industry is trying to make beyonce the end all be all of music. nuts We have reached a new low here. People feel that entitled that they need to run and take the mic from artists who have been making artistic music since the 1980's????? Really Kanye? nuts

It was awful...out of tune, off key. I don't think I've ever seen her sing so poorly.

People are texting me asking why she was wearing a see through outfit to sing a gospel song?

What bothers me is not what she wore, but that, if reports are true, seized the most popular musician on the planet seized Ledisi's much-needed spot on a national stage to sing a song of praise to her Lord. If that is true, "purpose" has suffered another stinging defeat.

John Legend pretty much (probably unknowingly) disspelled the whole, "The Grammys Asked Beyonce To Do It" excuse to Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier when he was on the red carpet. Basically said Beyonce approached him and Common to do it. And, "you don't say no to Beyonce."

THIS X10000

And i mean it when i say her gay fans. I'm gay... so it's not bashing. But her gay fans are half the reason eek if you say you don't like Beyonce you're dead. I've been called racial slurs because i don't like her music. I've also been told ''your momma should have aborted you'' because i didn't think Her last album was GODLY.

I've also been called a woman hater lol cause at my job they played her cd non stop for 2 week's. I asked if we could listen to something else. And they said ''fuck you! you must be intimindated by feminist and being flawless bitch''

Events like these make me hate Beyonce more. Her fans are insane and utter pathetic (Kanye included) and it keeps taking away from her music. I tried.. TRIED HARD to like her album. And it's not a bad album by any means. But her fans overrate her to an extent of GOD like proportions. Is it illegal to not like Beyawnce now? i better get out of America lol

I know, right? I didn't even notice what she was wearing till I got the text.

But according to John Legend it was Bey who approached him to sing the song.

Not only was that a foul thing to do but she literally butchered the song. If you listen to Leidisi or Mahalia, it's no contest.

What bothers me is that the media is actually praising that performance....they cannot be serious.

I wonder who will finally have the guts to call this mess out?
