I'm pretty excited that Beck won best rock album! i know there's no way he would get album of the year. So at least he got something in the process.

Beck had the best album of the nominees in that category, but Jack White should have been nomimated and won for his album Lazaretto.

What's really sad about this award is the depth (or lack thereof) of nominees this year.

I enjoyed Lady & Tony's performance. I think this album has been important for her to change the public perception of her as a pop-clown. She has great talent and shouldnt be afraid to just be who she is without gimmicks.

Obama spoke about violence against women awareness and a survivor also shared her story before a performance by someone about an abusive relationship
