Though his album The Life is often overlooked (except for 'Differences') due to the lack of Timbaland production on it, I always thought it was a fine album. 'Why Not Me' always reminded me of an old school soul/r&b flavour, fused with contemporary early 2000s sound. Even with the gratuitous autotune that pops up in a couple of places I just love the raw vocals on this.
