Just cut to the chase:
Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother you're staying a live Although I love the song I feel damn corny right about now. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

My favorite part of the song is this...
"Life going nowhere, somebody help me,somebody help me yeah I'm Stayin' A--li-iii-vvve Life going nowhere, somebody help me,somebody help me yeah I'm Stayin Alive" I love the way they keep repeating those lines over and over and then fading out the song with that sentiment. The 70s was a wild and crazy time and Barry's falsetto cry says it all.

I'll get slaughtered for this but I actually think it's the coolest song ever. The epitome of cool, infact!
What a timeless beauty. Those strings, those vocals, the way the beat just constantly pushes the song forward. Marvellous work.

Nobody gets too much heaven no more, it's much harder to come by, I'm waiting in line
Beautiful tune. One of their best ever ballads for sure.

Did you ever hear the song "Desire" by Andy Gibb? It was a hit for him in 1980.As with most of his singles,it was written and produced by his famous brothers,so it is essentially a Bee Gees song too. It's a KICKASS song!
"You are Desire, anything you want,I'd give you right or wrong...and you are the woman that I base my whole existence on" It's a ballad but it has a unique, percolating beat that's hard to describe.
