Almost thirty years after "The final countdown" comes the first single from the forthcoming 10th (5th since the reunion in '04) album of Europe.

It's only a recording from a radiobroadcast and the radio edit but shows the direction:

Albums drops on March 2nd. The war of kings began.

Not a bad single at all actually. The bass is suprisingly heavy on this. Didn't expect that at all.

The last 2 albums are brilliant, Bag Of Bones and Last Look At Eden. I saw them live twice in the last 5 years. excellent live show

Yeah, The song needs a couple of spins, but is definitely a grower. The vocals were a bit irritating at first listen. Kinda Dio like. Not that that's a bad thing. Also the riff kinda reminds me at a Dio-era Sabbath. Love the solo and love Mic's Hammond work. Really looking forward to the proper studio version. Should be coming soon. Very promising first single and I hope they keep the lyrics in the same vein.

Yeah. They were. Although out of the four reunion albums "Secret Society" is my favourite, followed by "Start from the dark", "Bag of bones" and "Last look at Eden". I wonder where WOK will land.

Also saw them live too many times to count in the past 10 years. Always fun.
