Coven-Black Swan, & Lost Without You

Disclaimer: I'm not into that occult crap. Its all about the music.

Coven were a occult, rock band that formed in the late 60's and released about 4 albums.

They were known for their elaborate, occult, stage setups, and for their lead singer Jinx Dawson's voice, and looks.

Overall they were a decent band. They had the talent to be a lot bigger than what the turned out to be. They were influential though.

A bit of trivia.

Jinx Dawson(and Coven) sung the lead song from the movie Billy Jack(One Tin soldier), which turned out to be a pretty big hit.

Another bit of trivia. Tommy Bolin(Deep Purple, The James Gang) plays guitar on Black Swan.

Black Swan is more of an outtake than a proper release. it was recorded in the 70's but wasn't released until the album Metal Goth Queen(2008).

Under the somewhat demo sounding sound of Black Swan, the song is a pretty rockin, sleazy bit, of Rock N Roll.

Black Swan

Lost Without A Trace(blood on The Snow-1974)

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
