As I've seen all of those acts many times before, I knew what to expect, so all shows were great, but standouts were Aerosmith and Rock meets Classic, which really was unexpectedly good and grew on me each time I saw it. And in direct contrast having seen them a week apart, I have to say I enjoyed the Skid Row minus Sebastian Bach show more, than Sebastian minus Skid Row.

so just eight concerts for me this year. best? dunno... Prince was great sure... but Masta Ace was DOPEST, and most fun... not a big Depeche Mode fan really, I mainly went with and because of my wife (she's a giant fan), but I was pleasently surprised by the show... Bakken was GOOD, but I missed the Big Band backing from the CD (Tom Waits covers)

oh it was cool, except that it took almost 2 hours (!!) to get in, with airport type security checks at the entry, and the show had already started for quite a while when I made it in

and yeah, the BBK flyers on the wall of all the upcoming acts and the ones that had been there in the past made my head explode! amazing
I tell ya, if I'd have the money I'd move to NYC in a second, no questions asked, greatest city in the world

Yeah.
There's a whole system for going to shows at BBK... My friends tease me, but I become crazy when it comes to getting on line and getting a seat there.

There's a whole system for going to shows at BBK... My friends tease me, but I become crazy when it comes to getting on line and getting a seat there.

I went to a show there around ten years ago and as someone was getting thrown out during the altercation with the bouncers (right after the show ended as people were trying to leave), mace was sprayed and everyone began coughing. Some people (including myself) were escorted out through the service elevator backstage. The only time I've ever inhaled mace--that was crazy.
