Well, there is a supergroup, but it's only got two of the artists you mention. I also would have to throw in Jill Scott and Meshell Ndegeocello, too (can't leave the women out, right?)

But the Soulquarians are just a collective. I want those guys together in the studio, making music. PRINCE: Always and Forever

I'm afraid that may be a case of too many chefs in the kitchen.

Meh, it doesn't work like that. Picking up 2-3 names that complement each other might work, but just throwing together some "big names" is not what putting together a group is like. Especially a group of singers.
By the way, Bilal is a horrible live singer. I really wanted to like him when I saw him live this summer, but he was constantly straying out of the key. He was so full of himself that he didn't even seem to care.

In an interview he said he did background for D'Angelo, later adding and laughing it only lasted for one gig. I've always wondered what happen with that. Out of the 3 his albums are the MOST different. His first and the second released albums are vastly different from each other. I think he'd be an interesting writer, producer. I can imagine D'angelo's vocals on Bilal's Airtight Revenge

I'd like to see an album by Max with production by Van or Saadiq Same for Bilal I'll take D'angelo out of the equation because it would have his sound on it and it would take FOREVER for that record to drop. minor keys and drugs don't make a rollerskate jam

We all know Ralph has an ego, but he gets along with D'Angelo just fine.
I doubt Bilal and Van Hunt have egos.
They all produce themselves, like revolution said they should take a stab at each other.
I'd love to hear Bilal produce a record for D'Angelo.
Saadiq do something for Maxwell. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Spoken like someone who has never worked with artists. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

. It wouldn't be inconceivable to do four of those things at the same time (minus the dancing), try it! . Going with that analogy, all you'd have to do is throw one of the five out, and you'd still have an awesome afternoon. I nominate Van Hunt, as he's basically just Maxwell lite. . I don't want your rhythm without your rhyme
