New Jack Swing R&B? I found an artists called Chucki Booker last week and I really liked his songs 'Games' and 'Turned Away'. And i'm just wondering if there any other artists or songs like these? I'm a fan of a largely unknown guy from the 90s called Joe Thomas with songs like 'All Nothing' https://www.youtube.com/w...2MrLiUZCFs and 'The One for Me' https://www.youtube.com/w...ucKGYst1cs. Is anyone else a fan of music like this and have any artists/songs to recommend? I'm feeling a bit fammy™

Here we go again, try using the search option. Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I liked some new jack swing back in da day. But, it makes me cringe when I listen to some artists known for more mature music, being forced by their labels to stay relevant and record new jack swing music. It was pretty embarrasing for many artists. It took them completely out of their element, away from their core audience and they ended up having little success on the charts.
