I don't approve the leaks and I didn't spread 'em...but I couldn't help but download them...a lot of good stuuf on this batch.

Several months ago,many fans assumed that Madonna was gonna release her new album in November.All things considered,she really should have released it last month.If she had done that,these current leaks would be irrelevent.Nowadays,you can't spend months working on an album,hyping it up on social media,hinting at song titles,and expect that it won't leak.I actually think that she shouldn't wait until March to release the rest of the album.Put it out there NOW.

Some of this stuff has summer anthem all over it. Someone like Madonna could probably put out a song a week and be the bank. I used to buy maxi-singles with those extended Peter Rauhofer and Junior Vasquez remixes from far off places like some sort of music importer.

When a handful of demos for her new album leaked last week, Madonna fired back by releasing six songs from “Rebel Heart,” saving the remaining tracks for the official release in March.

The six songs that hit iTunes on the weekend find the 56-year-old queen of pop working in EDM and synth-pop -- avoiding the slamming club sounds of 2012’s so-so “MDNA.” In doing so, she employs producers like Diplo to keep things contemporary.

And she sings, well, Madonna numbers like “Devil Pray,” a driving recounting of doing drugs to run away from life, and the ballad “Ghosttown,” and proudly proclaims amidst reggae-tinged guitars that she’s an “Unapologetic Bitch” after a breakup.

For “Illuminati,” she brings in Kanye West to join her in rapping and name-dropping, and Nicki Minaj joins in on the electronically twitchy “Bitch, I’m Madonna” -- the edgy tracks that end the disc.

If the rest of “Rebel Heart” is as good as the first six songs -- which it very likely will be -- it’s going to be Madonna’s best album in years. For now, it’s an unexpected Christmas gift from Madonna. Grade: A

there's enough strong material here to compile her strongest album since ray of light.

yet, her choice to include "bitch i'm madonna" has me slightly worried

I love Bitch I'm Madonna final mix. I must be the most tasteless person on the internet.

Its a fun track with great energy, almost like a bad trip on audio. Just as with GMAYL, Minaj shows up only really to prove she's there. She does, and its totally forgettable with an ending as forgettable/lame as the "only one queen" thing in MDNA. The demos of both songs are superior as the rapper cameos are unnecessary and basic.

I was hoping that maybe she'd scrap releasing these songs on the new album when it's officially released and, instead, include a whole other batch of ones to replace them -- giving us even more songs. Or, go the Beyonce route and re-release the thing with all-new versions, collaborations, videos, packaging, etc. That way fans can continuously buy the same thing over and over again, just in slightly different versions.

Im not a Madonna fan, never have been and probably never will be, but I will admit from the songs that I've heard from this album it does sound pretty good.

Yeah, that's kinda true, they were having a fwe drinks in the studio and Madonna asked Diplo for the 'craziest' track he had. This is the result, so on that basis I kinda like. More an experiement/piss-take than a serious track.

I am actually very surprised she went back to Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, she used to be so against repeating herself, so especially using Nicki again is so weird.

Body Shop is the most adorable thing she's recorded since Dear Jessie.

They obviously hit it off pretty well. I wonder how MIA feels now about flipping the NFL off, with her talented ex and alot of strong collaborators on this record vs MDNA.

Madonna really admires Nicki.They actually have alot in common.Nicki has said that Madonna is a major influence on her.I like when they work together.
