According to Forbes, the most-watched moment of last Grammy night was Madonna singing Living For Love for the first time on a tv show!

1. Madonna’s performance of “Living for Love” came in at number one. The woman will probably still be rocking fishnet stockings and corsets on stage when she’s 75 years old – and that’s why we love her. Her matador number might not have been the best performance of her career (or of last night’s Grammys) but she’s Madonna. It’s not like she needs to prove herself anymore. She appears on a stage, we watch.

I've only heard the officially released songs on iTunes so far, and I gotta say i really like the tracks, very classic Madonna sounding.

I hate Illuminati and Iconic, and can care less for B** I'm Madonna, but tracks like Living For Love, Ghost Town, Devil's Prayer are fantastic.

I've been steering clear of Madonna news tho cuz its always full of "old hag", "retire" and every article starts with "the 56-year old..." etc., its driving me crazy.

The music is coming along nicely, the Grammys performance was OK, and i dig the video clip.

Looking forward to watching the tour on DVD when she cancels her Australian dates again for reasons XYZ...

Yeah, I hate the ageism and sexism that is worse now in this society than it was when Madonna was young... I'm glad she's defiant against that and back to her old rebellious self, and I think she looks great. I just hope she doesn't eventually turn into Cher 2.0. Keep it close to natural, Madge. wink

I'm very satisfied with the album as a whole, but these are the songs I don't really care for...

"S.E.X"---I don't like the silly lyrics....and the orgasmic moans?....lol....not a very good song at all. With all of the other strong tunes she has,why throw this dumb song on the album? This should not have made it past the demo stage.

"Autotune Baby" is cute the first few times you hear it,but it wears thin very quickly.

"Bitch,I'm Madonna" is really a terrible song, but it works somehow lol nuts It's so campy and silly,it's hard not to like it....lol....one of those 'guilty pleasure' type songs that you play when no one else is around lol

"Hold Tight" is just 'OK' to me....nothing special about it....it's kinda mediocre

a few other observations....

"Body Shop"----Most of the songs on this album have alot going on,production-wise.This song gives you a chance to slow down and catch your breath. It's very sexy.I love Madonna's laidback vocal style on this song.

"Borrowed Time" is alot stronger than I initially thought. It's fast becoming a favorite.

Has anyone noticed that the middle, instrumental part of "Holy Water" sounds alot like "Future Lovers" from COADF? This song is my favorite, although I still think the "Vogue" sample is unnecessary.

I was waiting for a response from you, especially after I saw the tumbleweed... lol I hope Madonna kills it on her next public performance--maybe dance without those killer high heels!

Finally someone gets it!

Bare-arsed, bold, glorious Madonna – light years away from acting her age

Amazing to think that Madonna, an ‘older’ person wearing revealing clothes – corsetry, boobs proudly on show, legs encased in fishnets – can still get folk in a lather. Photograph: Kevin Mazur/WireImage

Now that we’ve calmed down after Kanye’s tanty over Beck winning best album at the Grammys, I think we can safely agree that although Kanye might have some valid points, until he holds his own personal awards ceremony he is not in a position to decide who gets what gong. End of.

All this kerfuffle has distracted us from something else that happens each year at the Grammys: the relentless and constant age-shaming of Madonna. It’s become some sort of sport.

Madge turned up to the ceremony in her usual garb, ie something tight, excruciatingly short and topped off with a pair of unwearable shoes. No real surprises there. Although I did enjoy the Napoleon-slash-Spanish matador vibe of her whole ensemble. She flounced about in her now de rigueur corsetry with boobs proudly on show, legs encased in saucy fishnets. On first glance, most people thought “Nice hat” and went back to their lives.

Then she flashed her backside. At the paparazzi. Who deserve it just as much as that degrading manicam box into which celebs are forced to shove their hands to have their cuticles filmed up close. Moon them both, I say.

Of course, Madonna’s rear wasn’t encased in a comfortable pair of sensible control-top cottontail undies like most women of most ages would wear. Her backside was bare, encased only by some sort of sporty jock strap that worked as a cheek hammock (where can I get one? The lift was extraordinary). Glorious Madge. Glorious 50-something-year-old Madge. Who refuses to put it away.

Cue the naysayers on socials saying Madonna should act her age. These normally rational people, who clearly all now hold a university degree in sitting on their own backsides and having opinions of 140 characters or less, were deeply concerned that Madge really needs a friend right now who’ll be honest and tell her the truth about her clothing choices. Others worried for her children. Some stated that she has more arse than class.

To think an older person wearing revealing clothes can still get folk in a lather, yet when Taylor Swift at the barely-legal-to-drink age of 22 turns up dressing like a 45-year-old movie star no one bats an eye! And that is so sad. Why should anyone be told to act their age when it comes to getting dressed? And as an aside, what on earth does acting your age really mean in this context? I assume the answer is covering it all up. And as Tay would say: shake it off.

^^I love the fact that Madonna is doing what the hell she wants, having lots of fun,and not caring one bit about what all of these ageist people are saying thumbs up! "Oh,she's 56,she should sit her ass down",blah blah blah.Funny how so many other people want to dictate how she should live her life.I think it's refreshing to see a 56-year old woman still being outrageous and wild, instead of becoming boring and conservative. You go,Madonna! Fuck what society says! Do your thing!

Pleuh-eeeze, Louise.

Nothing is refreshing about Madonna since for ever. She only lives on our generation's nostalgia for adolescence.

Sticking her tongue into Britney's mouth, all this gratuitous provocations, I'm sorry, but it has nothing to do with revolution.

This is capitalism by the book.

Get back, Jack. She's still DOING it. Her peers are dead, retired, jaded, obsolete and she's still doing it. She's fit, her voice sounds good, and she has something to say still.

.

That being said I agree with the others I hope she lays off the plastics, fillers, etc. and ages with grace. I'd love to see her at 80+ getting a Kennedy Center Honors ceremony looking regal and accomplished like Lucille Ball.

So the only way to get all of the tracks is to buy the UK super deluxe version? Looks like the US version is missing Queen. So cheeky. Also, I wish the red sweater pic was the super deluxe cover. It looks straight outta 1990.

The US Super Deluxe Edition doesn't have "Queen" and "Autotune Baby".It includes two remixes of "Living For Love" instead.

Fine...many of us just decided to go with the UK Special Deluxe Edition to get those two bonus songs.

But now we find out that those two songs aren't on the UK version, either nuts mad In fact, the UK Super Deluxe Edition is the exact same tracklist as the US Super Deluxe Edition.

Hopefully, they'll get this all sorted out before the release date.

It looks like I'm amidst zealots, so I'll try to be diplomatic.

Do you guys really think she has anything to offer other than a rehash of herself?
I actually thought "why did they use some old Erotica era pics"?
But no! It's the noo record, Ma!
Half the budget's been absorbed in Photoshop prowesses.

I'm sorry, but the iTunes excerpts are a pain to my ears and an insult to my brain.
Fake in the sound, fake in the delivery.

To defend Grandma is a noble cause.
But when it's bedtime, Grandma better take her pills or else she's starting to flash her bottocks in public.

And how, but Lord, how fake is this 'Bitch' buzz ?
Looks written and directed by Frank Dileo, the pop marketing snake himself.

Like, you know, it's fucking important to say "bitch", you know, it is a crucial statement in 2015.

I'm gonna leave now, I'm pretty sure Grandma is in good hands.

We should also consider/possibly bash the source of that article - Billboard - as its supposed to be a respected music publication for charting, sales, and media releases. An article about the word bitch is sorta in Perez Hilton territory.

I think you're misunderstanding the point.

When Madonna says :

I'm tough, ambitious, and I know exactly what I want.
If that makes me a bitch, okay.

It is to me the very contrary of feminism, much less an artistic statement.
Sounds like a quote you'd find on the Goldman & Sachs headquarters elevators.
It's basically saying Dog Eat Dog world, plus an insult.

It conveys the message that women that are tough, ambitious and occasionnaly slurped an A&R member
are NECESSARILY women you can insult. Because it's okay?
I am Madonna and I approve this message?

Madonna desperately seeks for the image of the submissive woman of the century past,
giving men what they want : Calling women bitches. Ah, m'kay.

I adopt the image of a slut, but hey, you know what, it's just a scam, I am truly a strong and independent woman disguised as porn.
I did not put aside what were my real ambitions for women back when I was concerned with the world. Not once.
Well maybe except for that time where I flashed my ass to make some extra bucks.

When Madonna did the Cannes Festival all boobs out, I thought she was making a feminist statement.
I guess I was wrong. Blame the innocence of my youth.
Money Changes Everything.

People read SO much into everything she does. She represents herself and speaks for herself.
