Fucking name them then idc how many hits he wrote. His new album is shit. This isn't about his past work at all. I don't see r&b stations playing any white people. Except occassionally Timberlake & maybe thicke. And every once in awhile Igloo gets played. The top 40 right here has 1 white artist. Really a shame. "Stronger" is a damn fine album. And as much as I adore Tank, I never thought I would say that about one of his albums. I'm afraid R&B is pretty much dead. Anytime someone like Beyonce becomes the reigning queen of R&B, then yes, the genre is as dead as a door nail!

yep- cause both records had great songs and production in addition to their voices. Sorry- but part of the R&B problem is style over substantivesongwriting at this point. IMO.

Someone should inform him that most CDs that are released these days are not big sellers.It's a tough time to be in the music industry right now.He should just do his thing,make music for the fans who do care,tour often,and be thankful that he even has a musical career.Not everyone is gonna be a multi-platimum,millionaire success story.

I don't know what's going on with Urban AC, and I would love to hear what Tank has to say about it, but I do know that Sam Smith has been sitting at #1 on the Adult R&B Airplay charts for 10+ weeks.

he sounds formulaic, and without having some real passion, well-written, albeit trite songs arent enough.
